Dr. James "Brandon" Bennett, DMD

Dr. James “Brandon” Bennett, our newest Dentist here at Oak Tree Dental, may be from a small town in Georgia, but his dental acumen is anything but modest. His mission is to improve not just his patient’s smile but their wellbeing. He will always commit to giving 100% effort and excellence into every facet of the practice.

Beginning his education at the University of Georgia, he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology. After a move to Alabama, Dr. Bennett completed his DMD, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

“From 2006-2007 I completed a General Practice Residency at the UAB hospital. This is where I learned how to place implants, advanced treatment planning, more complex dental cases, administering oral conscious sedation, and managing medically compromised patients.”

Briefly working in Atlanta from 2007 to 2008, Dr. Bennet then moved his family to Jacksonville, FL where he worked for 15 years. It was at the end of those 15 years that he discovered OakTree Dental, fell in love with its culture and vision, and made the jump to join our organization.

Identifying with our servant leadership business model, Dr. Bennett also believes in the power of giving.

“My family and I contribute monthly to Compassion International which supports a specific underserved family overseas. The money we contribute goes to education, healthcare, and other vital needs.”

While most of his free time is spent playing soccer or video games with his early-teens son, Dr, Bennett is actually a secret rockstar. “I have played drums since I was 12 years old and I continue to play today. I practice daily and play regularly with other musicians. Last year, my band successfully finished and produced a full album. I own both an acoustic kit and an electronic kit.”

Dr. Bennet specializes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry with a special focus on implants.

Dr. Lauren Humphreys, DDS

Dr. Lauren Humphreys is originally from Northwest Florida and attended the University of Florida for her B.S. in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her General Practice Residency at the West Palm Beach V.A. Medical Center.

Dr. Humphreys is committed to alleviating patient fears and helping patients through open communication, education, and personalized care. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Humphreys out on the water, surfing, and enjoying time with friends and family. She is also an advocate for keeping the ocean and beaches clean and plastic free.
